Overview

aurexglobalcapitals.com is an impersonation phishing page that presents itself as "Aurex Global Capital - The Financial Ecosystem". The pluralized domain name adds a trailing "s", a common trick for catching people who search for or mistype a real-sounding investment brand. It targets would-be investors and crypto users looking for a trading or wealth platform. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-25, and it was still online and serving content on 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

Sites like this borrow the name and polish of a financial firm so visitors trust them with logins, personal details and money. The "financial ecosystem" pitch typically leads to a sign-up form, an account dashboard and a request to fund the account, often in crypto. Victims can lose the credentials and identity documents they submit, along with any deposit. Funds sent to an impersonation platform go to the operators and cannot be withdrawn.

Evidence

Seven of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-09-29: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, Netcraft, SOCRadar and desenmascara.me. That is a modest share, but these are independent phishing and reputation feeds that reached the same verdict. Spamhaus lists the domain on its DBL as spam, and it appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses. It is on the PhishDestroy blocklist.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-09-24 through TuringSign Inc. d/b/a Cosmotown and detected only one day later. That timeline fits a site built for a short campaign rather than a business with any history. It is hosted at 163.61.188.7 on the NEW DHAKA HARDWARE network in the US. Its free Let's Encrypt certificate gives the browser padlock but says nothing about who runs the site.

What to do

Do not register, log in or deposit funds on aurexglobalcapitals.com. If you created an account there, change that password everywhere you reused it and turn on two-factor authentication on your email and exchange accounts. If you uploaded ID documents, watch for identity misuse. If you sent money, stop all further payments, including any "fees" or "taxes" demanded to release a balance, and report the transfer to your bank or exchange and to the police. Defenders should block the domain and its hosting IP, and warn staff and customers who might mistake it for a legitimate investment firm.
