PhishDestroy threat report
aevachain.com is a phishing page that presents itself as Aeva, using the page title "Aeva | The Asset-Native L1 Blockchain" to pass as an official project site. It targets crypto users who look for Aeva online, especially anyone hoping to buy, claim or bridge the network's tokens. PhishDestroy first flagged the domain on 2026-09-27. As of 2026-10-19 it was still alive and redirecting visitors elsewhere.
Fake blockchain project sites copy the branding and tone of a real Layer 1 so visitors trust them. They then push a call to action such as a token sale, airdrop claim, staking portal or bridge. Victims are typically asked to connect a wallet and sign transactions or token approvals, or to type in a recovery phrase. Any of these can let the operators move the victim's assets. The active redirect means the domain can still route visitors to whatever destination the operators choose next.
The flags come from several independent sources. On 2026-10-07, 12 of 92 VirusTotal engines marked the domain as malicious, including BitDefender, Kaspersky, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Gridinsoft, CRDF and alphaMountain.ai. The domain is blocked by MetaMask's phishing list and the SEAL security alliance as well as PhishDestroy. Three AlienVault OTX threat pulses also reference it. Wallet-focused blocklists naming it matters most here, because wallet users are the target.
The domain was registered through Namecheap on 2026-09-20, only seven days before PhishDestroy caught it. That short gap is typical of sites set up quickly to cash in on a project's name. It is hosted on Amazon cloud infrastructure in the Netherlands. A cloud host like this lets operators bring up or move a site with little effort.
Do not connect a wallet to aevachain.com or sign anything it asks for. If you already connected, review and revoke any token approvals or permissions you granted. If you entered a seed phrase, assume the wallet is compromised. Move remaining funds to a new wallet created with a fresh phrase, and never reuse the old one. Find Aeva only through channels the project itself verifies. Security teams should block the domain and its redirect chain at DNS and proxy level, and add it to wallet and browser protection lists.

This report combines saved page captures, registration and network records, scanner results and PhishDestroy reporting history. Each source keeps its own observation date. Open a source report to inspect the original result.
The AI-assisted analysis was written on . It describes the evidence available at that time; later source checks can change.
A capture documents what was shown. A scanner result records that provider’s assessment at the time of its check. Neither a valid certificate nor a zero-detection result is a guarantee of safety.
