PhishDestroy threat report
account-asset.org is an impersonation phishing site. Its generic name suggests an account or asset dashboard, and its listing on crypto-specific blocklists maintained by MetaMask and SEAL points to cryptocurrency holders as the target. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-09-15. As of 2026-10-19 the domain is still live and redirects visitors onward instead of serving a page directly.
Impersonation pages copy the look and wording of a service the victim already trusts, then ask for whatever unlocks their money: login credentials, a recovery phrase, or a wallet connection and signature. The browser tab here reads only "Loading…", a bare placeholder that sits in front of the redirect rather than a branded page. Whatever the victim types or approves at the destination goes straight to the operators. In crypto that usually means assets moved out of the account or wallet with no way to reverse the transfer.
On 2026-09-29, 13 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. ChainPatrol, a crypto-focused vendor, is among them, along with alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data and Gridinsoft. Spamhaus lists it in its domain blocklist under the phishing category. It also appears on the PhishDestroy, MetaMask and SEAL blocklists and in 4 AlienVault OTX threat pulses. That is broad agreement across general security vendors and crypto-specific defenders alike.
The domain was registered on 2026-09-07 through Fewmoretaps OU (Trustname.com), only eight days before PhishDestroy caught it. That short gap fits a site set up to be used quickly. Traffic runs through Cloudflare, with the address geolocated to Canada, so the real origin server stays hidden behind the proxy. The Let's Encrypt certificate gives the site a browser padlock, which proves only that the connection is encrypted, not that the site is legitimate.
If you typed a password on this site, change it at once on the genuine service, enable app-based 2FA and sign out all other sessions. If you entered a seed phrase, assume that wallet is compromised and move any remaining funds to a newly created wallet. If you connected a wallet or signed anything, check your recent activity for transfers you did not make. Defenders should block the domain and anything it redirects to at DNS and proxy level, and add it to wallet and email filtering.

This report combines saved page captures, registration and network records, scanner results and PhishDestroy reporting history. Each source keeps its own observation date. Open a source report to inspect the original result.
The AI-assisted analysis was written on . It describes the evidence available at that time; later source checks can change.
A capture documents what was shown. A scanner result records that provider’s assessment at the time of its check. Neither a valid certificate nor a zero-detection result is a guarantee of safety.
