PhishDestroy threat report
winzbet.surf is a phishing site that posed as a legitimate service to get visitors to trust it with their logins or funds. Its listing by MetaMask and SEAL, two crypto-focused blocklists, shows the people at risk were cryptocurrency users. PhishDestroy first flagged the domain on 2026-08-31. The site went offline on 2026-09-11, and on 2026-10-19 its DNS was still inactive.
An impersonation page copies the look, name and wording of a service the victim already uses, so nothing seems out of place when it asks the user to sign in, verify an account or connect a wallet. Whatever the victim types goes straight to the operator. That can include passwords, one-time codes and, on crypto-themed fakes, wallet recovery phrases. A captured recovery phrase gives full control of the wallet, and any funds taken that way are usually gone for good.
Eight of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain on 2026-09-10: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, PhishFort, SOCRadar and VIPRE. That is a minority of engines, but it includes PhishFort, a phishing specialist, alongside several major web-filtering vendors. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL under the phishing category. MetaMask and SEAL block it alongside PhishDestroy, and four AlienVault OTX pulses reference it, so several independent teams reached the same verdict.
The domain was registered through Global Domain Group LLC on the inexpensive .surf extension, a common pick for short-lived throwaway sites. The timeline was short. PhishDestroy flagged the domain on 2026-08-31, VirusTotal engines caught up on 2026-09-10, and the site was gone the next day. A collapse like that, right after wide detection, is typical of phishing domains that get blocked and then dropped.
If you entered a password or 2FA code on winzbet.surf, change that password now, along with any other account that shares it. Then reset your two-factor authentication and review recent logins. If you typed a wallet recovery phrase, treat that wallet as compromised. Create a new wallet and move any remaining assets to it immediately, because changing the wallet password will not lock the attacker out. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level, search logs for past visits since 2026-08-31, and keep the block in place in case the domain is reactivated.

RAA §3.18 establishes abuse-contact and handling requirements. This report can document stored outbound notices and later technical observations; it does not by itself establish receipt, investigation, remediation, or contractual non-compliance.
kristin.ns.cloudflare.comAn estimated time describes an observation window. It does not prove a registrar action or the exact moment a site became unavailable.
Dated changes retained by the monitor and source collectors. Newest observations appear first; source states are not proof of a takedown.
