PhishDestroy threat report
proposal-130.click is an impersonation phishing page that PhishDestroy first saw on 2026-09-05, two days after the domain was registered. Its page title presents it as "AJ Towing | 24/7 Towing & Roadside Assistance | Milwaukee, WI", a local towing business, while we classify the site as impersonation phishing. MetaMask and SEAL both list it, so wallet users are the most exposed group. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving content.
Impersonation pages borrow the look and name of a trusted business or service so visitors relax and act on prompts they would otherwise question. Once trust is established, the page steers the visitor toward handing over something of value, such as login details, payment information or, on crypto-focused lures, a wallet connection or recovery phrase. Whatever is entered goes to the operators, not to the business shown on screen. Victims can lose account access, card details or the funds controlled by a compromised wallet.
On 2026-09-11, 10 of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain, including BitDefender, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data, Gridinsoft, Kaspersky and LevelBlue. That count is modest, so many browsers and security products may not warn visitors. Independent listings make the case stronger. Spamhaus carries the domain in its DBL as a phishing domain, and it appears on the PhishDestroy, MetaMask and SEAL blocklists. Four AlienVault OTX pulses also reference it, which means other analysts have tracked it separately.
The domain was registered through Namecheap on 2026-09-03 and was already being used for phishing within two days. This is typical of a throwaway domain set up for a short campaign. It resolves to 75.2.60.5 on Amazon's AMAZON-02 network in the US. The Let's Encrypt certificate gives it a browser padlock, which says nothing about whether the site is honest. The cheap .click name with a numbered "proposal" label bears no relation to the towing business named in its title.
Do not enter anything on proposal-130.click, and close it if it opens from a message or ad. If you typed a password there, change it everywhere you reused it and turn on two-factor authentication. If you entered card details, contact your bank to block the card. If you connected a wallet, revoke any approvals the site obtained and move your assets to a fresh wallet. If you revealed a recovery phrase, treat that wallet as lost. Defenders should block the domain and 75.2.60.5 at DNS and proxy level and check logs for earlier visits.
