Sites of this kind use a familiar brand and a helpful-looking catalogue to win trust, then send visitors to lookalike login, checkout or payment steps. Victims can lose their Oopbuy account credentials, payment card details, or money paid for orders that never arrive. An account taken over this way can also be drained of its stored balance or used for further fraud.
