jaguarsjersey.net is an impersonation phishing site. Its name suggests a sports jersey store, while the page itself presents as a technology blog. PhishDestroy first detected it on 2026-10-10, and as of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving content. The page title reads "Technology and IT News", which does not match our impersonation classification; the classification rests on the site's behavior and independent vendor verdicts.
How the scam works
Impersonation pages borrow the identity of a trusted shop, service or publication so visitors lower their guard. The ordinary-looking front, here a tech news title on a jersey-themed domain, is what gets people to click through to a login prompt, a checkout or a "connect" step. Whatever is typed there, such as account passwords, card numbers or recovery details, goes straight to the operators. Money paid for goods that never ship and hijacked accounts are the usual losses.
Evidence
On 2026-10-12, VirusTotal showed 10 of 92 engines flagging the domain. The flagging vendors include Kaspersky, Gridinsoft, CRDF, Lionic, CyRadar, alphaMountain.ai, AILabs (MONITORAPP) and the Vietnamese anti-fraud group Chong Lua Dao. That is a minority of engines, but these vendors use separate detection methods and reached the same verdict. The domain also appears in 50 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which means researchers have tied it to tracked malicious activity many times over. PhishDestroy lists it on our blocklist.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2025-02-28 through Automattic Inc., about nineteen months before we flagged it. A domain that sits that long before being caught may have built up search history and a sense of legitimacy before it was put to this use. It resolves to Cloudflare (AS13335) in the US, so the real origin server is hidden behind the proxy network.
