PhishDestroy threat report
hoodstockers.xyz is an impersonation phishing site whose page presents itself under the name "Stockers". It copies the look of a legitimate service to win the trust of crypto and trading users. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-17. On 2026-10-19 the domain was still alive and redirecting visitors onward, so it remains a live threat.
Impersonation pages like "Stockers" borrow the branding, layout and wording of a service the victim already trusts. Visitors usually arrive through ads, social media posts or direct messages. The page then asks them to sign in, enter recovery details or connect a wallet. Whatever they submit goes straight to the operators, who use it to take over accounts or move funds. The redirect means the domain may pass visitors to another page, so what a victim lands on can change over time.
Six of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-09-29: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, SOCRadar and VIPRE. That is a minority of engines, so many browsers and filters may still let the site load without a warning. ScamSniffer, a web3-focused scam blocklist, lists it alongside PhishDestroy. Four AlienVault OTX threat pulses also reference it, which shows other researchers are tracking the same activity.
The domain was registered through Name.com, Inc. on 2026-09-04, just 13 days before PhishDestroy detected it. That short gap is typical of throwaway phishing domains, which are set up quickly and used before reputation systems catch up. It is hosted on Amazon.com, Inc. infrastructure in the US at 216.198.79.65. Its free Let's Encrypt certificate gives it a browser padlock, but the padlock only means the connection is encrypted, not that the site is legitimate.
If you typed a password or one-time code on this site, change that password right away from the real service's official app or bookmarked address, and reset two-factor authentication. Check the account for sessions and devices you don't recognize. Never reuse a seed phrase you entered here: move any remaining funds to a new wallet with a fresh phrase. If you connected a wallet or signed anything, review and revoke token approvals you don't recognize. Security teams should block the domain and its IP at the DNS and proxy level, and search logs for earlier visits since 2026-09-17.
