How the scam works

The site poses as an official Guarda download or setup page, luring users who believe they are installing or recovering a legitimate wallet. At some point in the flow — typically framed as account recovery, wallet import, or initial setup — the victim is prompted to enter their seed phrase, the master key that controls all funds in a wallet. The moment that phrase is submitted, the attacker gains complete, irreversible control of every asset in the wallet. Unlike a wallet drainer that requires a transaction approval, seed phrase theft gives attackers direct access with no further interaction needed from the victim.
