PhishDestroy threat report
ever-green.capital is an impersonation phishing page that presented itself under the title "Evergreen Capital", borrowing the look and name of an investment firm to win the trust of people looking to place money or crypto. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-08-18. The site went offline on 2026-09-11, and by 2026-10-19 its domain no longer resolved in DNS.
Pages like this rely on a familiar name rather than technical tricks. A capital-management brand suggests regulated, professional handling of funds. Visitors are typically asked to open an account, hand over login credentials or identity documents, or deposit crypto into what looks like a managed portfolio. In schemes of this type, deposits rarely come back. Victims who try to withdraw are often told to pay extra "fees" or "taxes" first, and that money disappears as well. Anything typed into the site, including passwords, personal details and wallet information, should be treated as captured by the operators.
Five of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain when it was checked on 2026-09-01: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, SOCRadar and VIPRE. That is a small share, but it comes from vendors working independently of each other. The domain also appears in three AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers had tracked it too. PhishDestroy is the only blocklist listing it, which means many browsers and filters would not have warned visitors while it was live.
The domain was registered through NameCheap, Inc. on 2026-03-12, more than five months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap fits a domain that was kept in reserve or quietly built up before being pushed to targets. The site was hosted on the M247 Europe SRL network in Austria and served over a free Let's Encrypt certificate. The padlock in the browser therefore said nothing about who was running the site.
If you deposited funds through ever-green.capital, do not pay any "withdrawal fee" or "recovery" charge, because these are a second stage of the same fraud. Report the transfers to your exchange or bank and to the police, and keep every receipt and message. If you created an account or entered a password there, change it anywhere else you used it and turn on two-factor authentication. If you uploaded ID documents, watch for identity misuse. Defenders should block the domain, search logs for past visits around 2026-08 to 2026-09, and watch for lookalike names built on the Evergreen Capital brand.
