PhishDestroy threat report
crowningcapital.ltd is an impersonation phishing site that poses under a finance-style "Crowning Capital" name to win the trust of crypto users. PhishDestroy first detected it on 2026-10-07. It was still online and serving content when last checked on 2026-10-19.
Visitors first see a page titled "Bot Verification", a fake human check that makes the site feel legitimate before the real content appears. Impersonation sites like this copy the look of a trusted service and then ask for logins, recovery phrases or a wallet connection. Whatever the victim enters goes straight to the operators. A seed phrase or a signed wallet request can be enough to empty the wallet. The "Bot Verification" title describes a gate screen, while our classification covers the impersonation content behind it.
On 2026-10-11, 7 of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, Netcraft, SOCRadar and desenmascara.me. That is a minority of engines, but it includes established phishing-focused vendors. The crypto community has also acted: the domain is on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists as well as PhishDestroy's. Four AlienVault OTX threat pulses reference it, so other researchers are tracking it too.
The domain was registered through NameCheap, Inc. on 2026-02-02, about eight months before PhishDestroy detected it. A gap that long suggests the operators registered it early and either let it age or ran it quietly before it drew attention. It is hosted at 198.251.84.200 on the PONYNET network of FranTech Solutions in the US. Its Let's Encrypt certificate gives it the browser padlock, which only means the connection is encrypted and says nothing about whether the site is trustworthy.
Do not get past the verification screen. If you typed a password there, change it everywhere you reused it and turn on two-factor authentication. If you entered a seed phrase, treat that wallet as compromised and move your funds to a new wallet created from a fresh phrase. If you connected a wallet or signed anything, review and revoke token approvals with a revocation tool. Security teams should block the domain and its IP at DNS and proxy level and check logs for visits since 2026-10-07.
