PhishDestroy threat report
cb-pump.fun posed as an official Pump.fun rewards page under the title "Pump.fun Cashback". It targeted people who trade memecoins on the Pump.fun launchpad. PhishDestroy flagged it on 2026-09-05, the same day the domain was registered. As of 2026-10-19 the domain no longer resolves in DNS, so the page is currently unreachable, but the name could be pointed at a server again at any time.
The "cb-" prefix and the cashback promise are the hook. They suggest that Pump.fun is refunding trading fees or paying rebates to active users, and that you only need to claim yours. Fake reward pages of this kind usually ask the visitor to connect a wallet and then approve a transaction or sign a message presented as the claim. In reality, that approval authorizes transfers out of the wallet, so the victim loses tokens and SOL instead of receiving cashback. Pump.fun does not need a separate domain to pay anyone back.
urlscan.io rated the page malicious and recognized Pump.fun branding on it. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL as phishing. MetaMask, ScamSniffer and SEAL block it alongside PhishDestroy, so wallet users with those protections should already see a warning. On VirusTotal, 4 of 90 engines flagged it on 2026-09-06: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet and Kaspersky. That count is low, which is typical for a domain only a day old, but the crypto-specific blocklists agree on the verdict. Four AlienVault OTX pulses also reference it.
The domain was registered through NICENIC INTERNATIONAL GROUP CO., LIMITED on 2026-09-05 and was caught within hours. That pattern fits a short-lived campaign domain that was spun up for a quick burst of traffic. It was hosted on Ultahost, Inc. (ULTAHOST-AS) at an address geolocated to South Africa. The site had a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so a padlock in the browser said nothing about whether the page was legitimate.
If you connected a wallet to cb-pump.fun, open a token-approval checker for Solana and revoke any permissions granted around that time. Move remaining funds to a fresh wallet if you signed anything you did not fully understand. If you typed a seed phrase or private key into the site, treat that wallet as compromised and move everything out immediately. Claim rewards only from the Pump.fun interface you normally use. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level, and watch for lookalike "cb-" and cashback-themed Pump.fun domains that may replace it.
