“BTMex — The only credit card you will ever need”
Résumé des preuves
PhishDestroy has identified btmex.online as a deceptive phishing site designed to steal sensitive financial information. The page, titled "BTMex — The only credit card you will ever need," mimics a legitimate credit card service to trick visitors into entering personal and payment details. This type of generic phishing attack can lead to identity theft, unauthorized transactions, and financial loss. The site is currently offline, but similar threats may reappear under different domains.
Our investigation reveals that btmex.online was created on April 13, 2026, through Global Domain Group LLC, and resolves to IP address 163.61.188.2. It uses an SSL certificate from Let's Encrypt (R12), which gives it a false sense of security. VirusTotal reports that 4 out of 95 security vendors flag this domain as malicious, and it appears on at least one security blocklist. These indicators, combined with the suspicious page title and recent creation date, strongly suggest a phishing operation.
If you have visited btmex.online, do not enter any personal information. Immediately run a full antivirus scan on your device and monitor your financial accounts for unusual activity. Change any passwords that may have been compromised and enable two-factor authentication where possible. Report the domain to your email provider or security tools to block future access. Stay vigilant against similar phishing attempts that promise too-good-to-be-true financial offers.
