How the scam works
The page presents itself as "Bike Lover USA | Shop BMX, City, Dirt, Electric Bikes, and More Online", borrowing the name and look of a legitimate bike shop to appear trustworthy. Fake shops of this kind lure visitors with discounted listings and push them through a checkout that collects names, addresses, phone numbers and payment card details. Victims typically pay for goods that never arrive or receive something worthless. Their card data and personal information may then be reused for further fraud.
Evidence
VirusTotal flagged the domain on 2026-10-16 with 15 of 92 engines reporting it as malicious, including alphaMountain.ai, Bfore.Ai PreCrime, BitDefender, Chong Lua Dao, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet and G-Data. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and specifically identified the site as a fake shop. The domain appears in 4 AlienVault OTX threat pulses and is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2026-04-23 through Dynadot Inc., roughly six months before PhishDestroy detected it. It is hosted on the network of Malakmadze Web LLC, registered in Georgia, at an IP address geolocated to the United States. The site uses a TLS certificate issued by Let's Encrypt (YE2), so the padlock in the browser says nothing about whether the shop is genuine.
