PhishDestroy threat report
bigfrenchiesshop.shop is a fraudulent storefront that copies Big Frenchies, a brand selling French-style clothing advertised as sustainable and made in the USA. It targets shoppers who search for that label and land on a lookalike shop instead of the real one. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-16. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its shop pages.
The page carries the brand's full marketing line, "Big Frenchies: Sustainable French Style Clothing Made in USA", to pass as the official store. Fake shops like this list familiar products, often at attractive prices, and push visitors through a normal-looking checkout. The buyer pays, then receives nothing, a cheap substitute, or a tracking number that leads nowhere. Card details and the name, address and phone number entered at checkout also end up with the operators and can be reused for further fraud.
Eight of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-10-19: alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue and Netcraft. That is a modest count, but it covers several major endpoint vendors, so many users with mainstream security software will already see a warning. urlscan.io rated the site malicious and specifically identified it as a fake shop. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses and is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
The domain was registered through Spaceship, Inc. on 2026-03-18, about seven months before PhishDestroy flagged it. That gap suggests either a long period of quiet operation or a domain held back before use. It resolves to an address on the Malakmadze Web LLC network in Georgia. The site has a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the padlock in the browser only means the connection is encrypted and says nothing about whether the store is legitimate.
If you bought something here, contact your card issuer or payment provider right away, report the charge as fraud and request a chargeback. Ask whether the card should be replaced, and watch your statements for further unauthorized charges. Be wary of follow-up emails, texts or calls about "delivery problems" or refunds, because the operators now have your contact details. Look for Big Frenchies items only through the brand's verified official channels. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and web proxies and add it to fake-shop filters. Monitor for other lookalike domains that use the Big Frenchies name.
