PhishDestroy threat report
bemisdisfa.rest is an impersonation phishing page: a site built to pass itself off as a legitimate service so visitors trust it with access they would never give a stranger. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-10. As of 2026-10-19 the domain still resolves and serves live content, so anyone reaching it through a link or ad can still be caught.
Impersonation pages copy the branding, layout and wording of a service the victim already uses, then ask for the one thing that service would normally protect. That might be an account login and two-factor code, a wallet recovery phrase or private key, or a payment presented as routine. Once submitted, those details go straight to the operators. They can then take over the account or empty the wallet, usually within minutes and with no way to reverse it. The throwaway-sounding name on a .rest domain is typical of sites meant to be shared through direct messages and ads rather than found on their own.
Sixteen of 89 VirusTotal engines classified the domain as malicious on 2026-09-18. They include BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, G-Data, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, alphaMountain.ai, CRDF and CyRadar. Agreement across that many independent vendors, several of them major endpoint brands, is strong confirmation for a domain this new. It is also referenced in five AlienVault OTX threat pulses and listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
The domain was registered through NAMECHEAP INC on 2026-08-23, just 18 days before PhishDestroy detected it. That short gap fits a site set up for a quick campaign. Its traffic passes through Cloudflare's network, with the address geolocating to Canada, so the server actually hosting the page stays hidden. The certificate from Google Trust Services (WE1) gives the site a padlock in the browser, but that only means the connection is encrypted, not that the site is genuine.
If you typed a password or one-time code here, change that password immediately wherever you reuse it, reset two-factor authentication and sign out of all active sessions. If you entered a recovery phrase or private key, treat the wallet as compromised and move any remaining funds to a newly created wallet whose phrase has never been typed into a website. Do not pay any fee the site or its 'support' demands to fix or unlock anything. Security teams should block bemisdisfa.rest at the DNS and proxy level and search logs for users who visited it after 2026-08-23.
