PhishDestroy threat report
americanascension.shop is an impersonation phishing page that presents itself under the name "AMERICAN ASCENSION – American Ascension". It borrows that brand identity on a .shop domain to look like a legitimate store and catch people searching for or clicking links about American Ascension. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-07. On 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its content.
Impersonation pages copy a brand's name and look so visitors believe they are dealing with the real business. A shop-style front like this one typically invites people to place orders, create accounts or enter card and contact details. The victim may pay for goods that never arrive, and the payment data, address and login details entered on the page end up with the operators. The page title shows a storefront branded American Ascension, and we classify the site as an impersonation of that brand.
On 2026-09-20, 4 of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. That is a low count, so most browser and antivirus protections will not block the page, and a clean result in a scanner should not be taken as proof the site is safe. The domain also appears in 4 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers have independently linked it to malicious activity. PhishDestroy lists it on its own blocklist.
The domain was registered through Namecheap, Inc. on 2026-09-04 and was detected three days later. That short gap fits a site built quickly for a campaign, not an established business. It resolves to 23.227.38.65 on the CLOUDFLARENET network, geolocated to Canada. It uses a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the padlock in the browser only means the connection is encrypted. It does not mean the site is genuine.
If you ordered or paid anything on this site, contact your bank or card issuer now to dispute the charge and ask for a replacement card. If you created an account here, change that password wherever you reused it and turn on two-factor authentication. Expect follow-up phishing emails or calls that use the name and address you entered, and do not trust messages claiming to be from American Ascension about your order. Security teams should block the domain and its IP at DNS and proxy level. They should also search mail and web logs for users who visited it and report the site to the registrar and hosting provider.
For this gTLD, the registrar above operates under an ICANN accreditation agreement. The links below provide the official fee schedule and current DNS abuse compliance guidance.

An estimated time describes an observation window. It does not prove a registrar action or the exact moment a site became unavailable.
Dated changes retained by the monitor and source collectors. Newest observations appear first; source states are not proof of a takedown.
