PhishDestroy threat report
trinocaudalecto.click presents itself as "Trino Caudalecto | AI Trading Platform | Official Platform". It is an impersonation phishing page aimed at people looking for automated crypto or AI-driven trading profits. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-17. When last checked on 2026-10-19, the site was still online with its content live.
Sites branded as AI trading platforms usually open with a polished landing page that promises effortless returns from an algorithm. The "Official Platform" label in the title is meant to convince visitors they have found the genuine service rather than a copy. Visitors are pushed to register with their name, email and phone number. Those details are often passed to call-center agents who pressure them into a first deposit. A fake dashboard then shows growing profits, but withdrawals are blocked by invented taxes, fees or verification charges. Victims lose every deposit and hand their identity details to people who may resell them or target them again.
On 2026-09-29, 16 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. The vendors included alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, Chong Lua Dao, CRDF, CyRadar, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker and Fortinet. That spread of independent vendors, from major antivirus firms to a dedicated anti-phishing community, supports the classification. The domain also appears in 5 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which shows other researchers are tracking it. It is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
The domain was registered through NETIM on 2026-07-27, 52 days before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap leaves time for a site to be built out and promoted before it is flagged. Traffic is routed through Cloudflare, Inc. with a Canada location, so the address visitors see belongs to Cloudflare's network rather than the operator's own server. The .click extension is cheap and gives no sign of a regulated financial business.
If you registered on this site, do not send any more money, including any "withdrawal fee" or "tax" demanded to release your balance. Hang up on any "account manager" who calls. Contact your bank or card issuer right away to dispute any deposits. Report the scam to your national fraud authority, and treat any later offer to "recover" your funds as a second scam. If you reused the password you entered there on other accounts, change it on those accounts. Security teams should block the domain at DNS and proxy level and watch for lookalike Trino Caudalecto domains.
For this gTLD, the registrar above operates under an ICANN accreditation agreement. The links below provide the official fee schedule and current DNS abuse compliance guidance.
