PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

PhishDestroy’s intake system classified rabbyweb.cloud as malicious following an admin report and an AI‑driven phishing confidence of 95 %. The prior AI assessment observed that the site uses the Rabby Wallet brand in its title and offers actions such as “Create a new address” or “I already have an address”, which match typical wallet‑impersonation patterns. The domain was first seen by PhishDestroy on 2026-10-21 and returned an HTTP 200 response at that time.

How the scam works

Impersonation wallets present a replica of a legitimate wallet interface and solicit users to enter seed phrases, private keys, or to approve transactions, enabling attackers to gain control of funds. By mimicking the Rabby Wallet brand and prompting address creation, such pages aim to trick users into disclosing credentials or authorizing transfers.

Evidence

VirusTotal scanned the domain on 2026-10-21 with 92 engines and reported zero malicious or suspicious detections. Google Safe Browsing checked the same day and did not flag the URL. OTX listed three pulses referencing the domain on 2026-10-21, but none constitute a confirmed malicious event. URLScan’s machine‑learning engine marked the page malicious with a score of 99, while its overall verdict was non‑malicious. PhishDestroy’s internal blocklist also contains rabbyweb.cloud.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered with Dynadot on 2026-10-16. At the time of observation the DNS records returned two A addresses, 63.176.8.218 and 35.157.26.135, both belonging to Amazon Technologies. The TLS certificate, issued by Let’s Encrypt, covered *.rabbyweb.cloud and was valid until 2027-01-14; the server header captured in the response identified Netlify, and DNSSEC was not present.
