How the scam works
The page title is "Oopbuy Spreadsheet Guide UK | Plan Your Finds Clearly". It presents itself as a helpful guide, which we classify as impersonation of the Oopbuy brand. Lookalike guide sites of this type attract shoppers searching for spreadsheet links. They then steer visitors toward fake login pages, counterfeit checkout or top-up flows, or links that pose as official Oopbuy pages. Victims risk handing over account credentials, payment card details or money for orders that never arrive. A hijacked shopping-agent account can also expose saved addresses and payment methods.
Evidence
Independent detection is still thin. On 2026-10-16, VirusTotal showed 1 of 92 engines flagging the domain, with Webroot the only vendor to do so. The domain appears in 4 AlienVault OTX pulses and is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist. Low vendor coverage is typical for a domain only days old and does not mean the site is safe.

The domain was registered on 2026-10-16 through Spaceship, Inc. and uses the low-cost .sbs extension. It is hosted on Amazon's AMAZON-02 network in the United States at 52.37.165.222.
