kako-sheets.monster is an impersonation phishing page built around the Kakobuy shopping-agent brand. Its title, "Kakobuy Spreadsheet für Käufer in Deutschland | Kako Studio", shows it targets German-speaking buyers looking for curated Kakobuy product lists. PhishDestroy first detected it on 2026-10-17. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving live content.
How the scam works
Kakobuy spreadsheets are popular community-made lists of product links, so a page claiming to be one gets steady traffic from shoppers. Impersonation sites of this kind borrow that trust and steer visitors toward lookalike login, sign-up or checkout steps. Those steps capture Kakobuy account credentials, personal details or payment information. Victims can lose access to their agent account, along with any balance or orders tied to it, and can face fraudulent charges if they enter card data.
Evidence
When VirusTotal checked the domain on 2026-10-17, none of its 92 engines flagged it, so automated scanners had not caught it at that point. The domain is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist and appears in 3 AlienVault OTX pulses. A missing antivirus verdict on a freshly registered page is common and does not mean the site is safe.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2026-10-12 through Spaceship, Inc., five days before PhishDestroy flagged it. It resolves to 52.37.165.222 on the AMAZON-02 network operated by Amazon.com, Inc. in the US. Its TLS certificate was issued by Let's Encrypt (YE1), so the padlock in the browser says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.
What to do
If you visited the page, do not use any links, forms or downloads it offers, and reach Kakobuy only by typing the address you already know. If you entered Kakobuy login details, change your password immediately, turn on two-factor authentication and review recent orders and account activity. If you submitted card or payment information, contact your bank or card issuer to block the card and dispute unknown charges.
