How the scam works
Fake review sites like this borrow the credibility of an impartial comparison page. They rank "top" apps, push exclusive bonuses and steer visitors toward sign-up or download links they control. Victims are typically led to register, hand over login details or personal data, or make deposits, often in crypto, into platforms that never pay out. A visitor who trusts the "independent" label can lose account credentials, identity data and any money deposited.
Evidence
Five of 92 engines on VirusTotal flagged the domain as of 2026-10-19: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. That is a low count, but it comes from vendors that track phishing and fraud independently. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which means other researchers have tied it to malicious activity. Among blocklists, only PhishDestroy lists it so far, so many browsers and filters may still let it load without a warning.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2026-05-25 through Fewmoretaps OU d/b/a Trustname.com. It ran for about three and a half months before we detected it, enough time to look established to casual visitors. Traffic passes through Cloudflare's network (188.114.97.3, geolocated to CA), which hides the server that actually hosts the content. The Let's Encrypt certificate gives it a padlock, but that only means the connection is encrypted, not that the site is legitimate.
What to do
Do not register, deposit or install anything recommended by this site. If you created an account on an app it promoted, change that password and any reused passwords, and turn on two-factor authentication. If you deposited money or crypto, stop paying: requests for "verification" or "withdrawal fees" are how these schemes extract more. Keep transaction records and report them to your bank or exchange.
