PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

PhishDestroy’s intake AI classified the domain as malicious because it pretends to be the Fables brand and prompts visitors to connect a wallet to vote on a rewards proposal. The domain was first seen by PhishDestroy on 2026-10-21, the same day it was registered. A page fetch on that date returned HTTP 200 with no cross‑site redirect.

How the scam works

Attackers host a page that mimics a legitimate project and ask users to connect their blockchain wallet under the guise of voting for a rewards distribution. Once the wallet is connected, the attacker can obtain approval to transfer tokens or drain assets without the user’s explicit consent.

Evidence

VirusTotal scanned the domain on 2026-10-21 with 92 engines and reported zero detections and zero suspicious flags. Google Safe Browsing checked the same day and did not flag the site. urlscan captured the page on 2026-10-21 and returned a malicious verdict with a score of 100, categorising it as phishing. OTX listed four pulses referencing the domain on 2026-10-21, and Spamhaus DBL listed it as spam on the same date. PhishDestroy’s internal blocklist also contains the domain.
