PhishDestroy threat report
biltmorestyle.shop is an impersonation phishing page that copies the Biltmore Shop, the retail storefront selling food, wine and gifts under the Biltmore brand. It targets shoppers who search for Biltmore products or follow ads and social posts promising discounted gifts. PhishDestroy first detected the domain on 2026-10-16. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its content.
The page presents itself as "Food, Wine, Gifts, and More | Biltmore Shop," borrowing the real store's name and product range to look legitimate. Fake shops like this usually lure visitors with prices well below retail, then walk them through a convincing checkout that collects names, addresses, phone numbers and full card details. Victims typically lose the money they pay, receive nothing or a cheap substitute, and have their card data reused or sold for further fraud. The off-brand domain name and the cheap .shop extension are the main visible signs that this is not the official Biltmore store.
On 2026-10-16, 10 of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain, including alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CRDF, ESET, Fortinet, G-Data, Gridinsoft and LevelBlue. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and specifically identified the site as a fake shop. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL as spam, and it appears in one AlienVault OTX threat pulse. The domain is on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
The domain was registered on 2026-05-16 through Dynadot Inc., roughly five months before it was detected. It resolves to 162.222.90.200 on a network registered to Malakmadze Web LLC (GE), with the address located in the US. The site uses a Let's Encrypt certificate issued by YE2, so the padlock in the browser proves only that the connection is encrypted, not that the store is genuine.
Do not place orders or enter any personal or payment details on this site. If you already paid or typed in card information, contact your bank or card issuer right away to block the card, dispute the charge and watch for unauthorized transactions. If you reused a password from an account created there, change it everywhere you used it, and treat follow-up emails or calls about your order as possible phishing. Buy Biltmore products only through the brand's official website, which you can reach by typing the address yourself. Security teams should block biltmorestyle.shop and the hosting IP at DNS and web proxies, add the domain to email filtering, and report it to the registrar and hosting provider for takedown.
For this gTLD, the registrar above operates under an ICANN accreditation agreement. The links below provide the official fee schedule and current DNS abuse compliance guidance.
