okx.supplies impersonated the OKX exchange behind a page titled "OKX VIP Upgrade Season", a promotion designed to appeal to existing OKX customers. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-01, two days after the domain was registered. The site has been offline since 2026-09-11 and was still dead when last checked on 2026-10-19.
The "VIP Upgrade Season" framing invents an exclusive tier upgrade, bonus or higher limit that the visitor can only claim by acting quickly. Pages of this kind push the victim to sign in with their OKX email and password, hand over a 2FA or email verification code, or connect a wallet and approve a transaction to "activate" the upgrade. Whatever is entered goes to the operators, who can use it to log into the real exchange account or empty the connected wallet. The OKX branding and a believable domain ending in "supplies" give the lure enough polish to pass a quick glance.
13 of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-09-12, including BitDefender, ESET, Kaspersky, Fortinet, G-Data, Gridinsoft, CRDF and alphaMountain.ai. Thirteen is a modest count, but those names are major security vendors acting independently. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and recognised OKX branding on the page. The domain is also on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists alongside PhishDestroy's, and it appears in two AlienVault OTX threat pulses.
The domain was registered through GNAME.COM PTE. LTD. on 2026-08-30 and was already serving a phishing page when PhishDestroy caught it two days later. That turnaround fits a throwaway domain bought specifically for this campaign. Traffic ran through Cloudflare's network, with the address geolocated to Canada. That setup hides the real origin server behind the CDN. The site stayed up for roughly ten days before going offline.
If you entered your OKX login on this site, change your password immediately, reset 2FA, review active sessions and API keys, and check for unfamiliar withdrawal addresses. If you shared a verification code, assume the account was accessed and contact OKX support through the official app. If you typed a seed phrase or approved anything from a wallet, move remaining funds to a fresh wallet. Real OKX promotions appear inside the official app and site, never on lookalike domains. Defenders should block okx.supplies and watch for similar OKX-themed domains registered in short bursts.
