PhishDestroy threat report
itau-unibancosa.solutions is a phishing domain that borrows the name of Itaú Unibanco, Brazil's largest private bank. The odd 'sa' suffix and the .solutions extension are designed to look plausible to the bank's customers. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-08-31, three days after registration. The site has been offline since 2026-09-16, and on 2026-10-19 its DNS was still inactive.
Bank impersonation domains like this one are usually spread through SMS, email or messaging links about blocked accounts, pending transfers or security checks. The link leads to a copy of the bank's login page. Anything the victim types there goes straight to the operators: account credentials, card details, one-time codes or personal identifiers. With these they can take over the account or approve transfers in the victim's name. When last captured, the page showed a webgo hosting placeholder ('Diese Domain wurde bei webgo für einen Kunden registriert'), not bank content, while we classify the domain as Itaú Unibanco impersonation.
On 2026-09-11, VirusTotal showed 7 of 89 engines flagging the domain: alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. That is a modest share, but seven unrelated vendors agreeing on a newly registered bank-lookalike name is meaningful. AlienVault OTX lists the domain in 4 threat pulses, so other researchers were tracking it too. Among blocklists, it currently appears on PhishDestroy's.
The domain was registered on 2026-08-28 through InterNetX GmbH and was detected within three days. That short gap is typical of phishing domains set up for a quick campaign. It resolved to 185.30.32.129 on German hosting, matching the webgo placeholder page. A Let's Encrypt certificate (YR2) gave it the padlock that many users wrongly read as a sign of legitimacy.
If you entered your Itaú login on this domain, change your password through the official app or website and contact Itaú right away to secure the account. If you shared card numbers or one-time codes, ask the bank to block the card and review recent transactions. Treat any follow-up calls or messages 'from the bank' as suspect. Defenders should block itau-unibancosa.solutions and watch for lookalike domains combining Itaú or Unibanco with unusual suffixes and new extensions.

No. PhishDestroy classifies itau-unibancosa.solutions as a phishing page (risk: critical, 93/100); it was first detected on 2026-08-31. VirusTotal: 7/89 engines flag it. Treat the site as unsafe.
No. Do not connect a wallet, sign messages or approve tokens on itau-unibancosa.solutions. Phishing sites ask for approvals (approve, setApprovalForAll, Permit2) that let the operator move your assets, and a confirmed transaction cannot be reversed.
Change every password you entered there and turn on two-factor authentication. If you connected a wallet or signed something, revoke the approvals and move the remaining funds to a new wallet; never share your seed phrase. Step-by-step help: emergency guide.
