How the scam works

Crypto‑mixing services typically promise to obscure transaction trails by shuffling deposited coins and then returning them, but they can disappear with funds or harvest user information. Because flashmixer.io advertises such a service, it falls under the generic risk of a fake mixer, although the captured page did not show a deposit flow or wallet‑approval request.

Evidence

VirusTotal on 2026-10-27 reported four detections: two malicious (Bfore.Ai PreCrime, Kaspersky) and two suspicious (alphaMountain.ai, Gridinsoft) out of 92 engines. Google Safe Browsing on 2026-10-27 did not flag the domain. URLScan recorded a clean verdict on 2026-10-15 and a later scan on 2026-10-27 that gave a malicious engine score of 96 but an overall non‑malicious verdict.
