PhishDestroy threat report
embercurve.icu is an impersonation phishing page dressed up as Firelight, using the title "Firelight – The Protection Layer for Digital Assets" to pass as the real project. It targets crypto holders who expect to find a legitimate Firelight interface. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-29. The site went offline on 2026-09-30, and its domain no longer resolves as of 2026-10-19.
The lure is ironic: a page promising to protect digital assets is built to take them. Clones like this copy a project's branding and layout, then prompt visitors to connect a wallet, sign a transaction, approve token spending or type in a recovery phrase under the pretext of activating protection or accessing the app. Any signature or approval granted on such a page can let the operators move funds out of the wallet. A seed phrase entered there hands over full control of every asset it secures.
urlscan.io rated the page malicious and recognized Firelight branding on it, which confirms the brand imitation directly. Wallet-focused defenses agree: MetaMask, ScamSniffer and SEAL all list the domain alongside PhishDestroy. On VirusTotal, only 3 of 91 engines flagged it on 2026-09-29 (CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker and Gridinsoft). That low count reflects how new the domain was rather than any doubt about the page, because the crypto-specific blocklists caught it quickly.
The domain was registered on 2026-09-27 through Eranet International Limited. It was caught two days later and was dark the day after that. This is the typical lifecycle of a disposable phishing domain, used briefly and then abandoned. Traffic ran through Cloudflare, Inc. on an address geolocated to Canada, which places a proxy in front of the actual server and keeps its real location out of view.
If you connected a wallet to embercurve.icu, review and revoke any token approvals or permissions granted around that time using a trusted approval checker. If you signed anything you did not understand, move remaining assets to a fresh wallet. If you entered a recovery phrase, treat that wallet as compromised and transfer everything to a new wallet with a new seed immediately. Reach Firelight only through links you have verified yourself, never through ads or direct messages. Defenders should block the domain and watch for lookalike .icu registrations that reuse Firelight branding or the same page title.

No. PhishDestroy classifies embercurve.icu as a Firelight impersonation page (risk: critical, 100/100); it was first detected on 2026-09-29. VirusTotal: 3/91 engines flag it. Treat the site as unsafe.
No. Do not connect a wallet, sign messages or approve tokens on embercurve.icu. Phishing sites ask for approvals (approve, setApprovalForAll, Permit2) that let the operator move your assets, and a confirmed transaction cannot be reversed.
Change every password you entered there and turn on two-factor authentication. If you connected a wallet or signed something, revoke the approvals and move the remaining funds to a new wallet; never share your seed phrase. Step-by-step help: emergency guide.
