PhishDestroy threat report
cuqmeqan.com presented itself as "CUQMEQAN Coffee Sefaköy | Lounge Kahve, Pasta ve Tatlı", a Turkish-language storefront for a café and dessert lounge in Istanbul's Sefaköy district. PhishDestroy classifies it as an impersonation phishing page. The title shows an ordinary coffee shop, while our classification places the site among fraudulent imitations. We first flagged the domain on 2026-09-06. It has been offline since 2026-09-16, with its content blocked by the provider, and it was still down when last checked on 2026-10-19.
Impersonation sites borrow the look and name of a real or plausible local business so visitors trust them enough to act. A café front lends itself to fake online orders, table reservations, gift cards or loyalty sign-ups. Each of these can ask for card details, phone numbers or account logins. The victim may pay for something that never arrives, and their payment or personal data can be reused for further fraud. A friendly, low-stakes brand like a dessert lounge lowers suspicion compared with a bank or exchange.
On 2026-09-17, 15 of 89 VirusTotal engines marked the domain as malicious. That is a solid minority for a site with such a mundane title. The flagging vendors include BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, alphaMountain.ai, CyRadar and ADMINUSLabs. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers tracked it independently. Of the blocklists we monitor, it is listed by PhishDestroy.
The domain was registered on 2025-12-25 through the Turkish registrar Cizgi Telekomunikasyon A.S. That is roughly eight months before we detected it, so this was not a throwaway registered the same week. It sat behind Cloudflare's network, geolocated to Canada, which hides the real origin server. Its certificate came from Google Trust Services, the standard issuer for Cloudflare-fronted sites, so it says nothing about legitimacy.
If you ordered, reserved or paid anything through this site, contact your bank or card issuer, dispute the charge and ask for the card to be reissued. If you created an account or reused a password there, change that password everywhere you use it and turn on two-factor authentication. Expect follow-up phishing by SMS or email that references the café, and don't respond to it. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level and check logs for visits between 2026-09-06 and 2026-09-16. Treat lookalike café or restaurant domains on the same registrar with suspicion.

No. PhishDestroy classifies cuqmeqan.com as a phishing page (risk: critical, 95/100); it was first detected on 2026-09-06. VirusTotal: 15/89 engines flag it. Treat the site as unsafe.
No. Do not connect a wallet, sign messages or approve tokens on cuqmeqan.com. Phishing sites ask for approvals (approve, setApprovalForAll, Permit2) that let the operator move your assets, and a confirmed transaction cannot be reversed.
Change every password you entered there and turn on two-factor authentication. If you connected a wallet or signed something, revoke the approvals and move the remaining funds to a new wallet; never share your seed phrase. Step-by-step help: emergency guide.
