PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

contact.zoecondominios.com.br is an impersonation phishing page that poses as a Microsoft sign-in under the title "Office 365". It targets people who use Microsoft 365 for work email, documents and Teams. PhishDestroy first detected it on 2026-09-03. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its phishing content.

How the scam works

Victims usually arrive through an email or message that claims a document is waiting, a mailbox is full, or a password is about to expire. The link opens a copy of the Office 365 login screen, and whatever address and password the victim types go straight to the operators. With a working Microsoft 365 login, attackers can read mail, send invoice fraud or more phishing from a trusted address, and reach files stored in OneDrive and SharePoint. Some kits also ask for the one-time code, which lets the attackers get past two-factor authentication in real time.

Evidence

Eighteen of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the site as of 2026-09-11. They include BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Emsisoft, G-Data, CyRadar and Chong Lua Dao, so the verdict does not rest on one vendor. urlscan.io rated the page malicious and independently recognised Microsoft branding on it. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL under the phishing category, which means mail filters that use that feed can block messages carrying the link. The domain is also on the PhishDestroy blocklist.

Infrastructure

The parent domain zoecondominios.com.br was registered on 2019-05-21, more than seven years before the phishing page appeared. This is not a throwaway name bought for the campaign; the fake login sits on a "contact" subdomain of an older Brazilian .com.br domain. The page is hosted on RouterHosting LLC in the United States. It carries a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the browser padlock it shows says nothing about whether the page is genuine.

What to do

If you entered your Microsoft credentials here, change your Microsoft 365 password right away from the official sign-in page. Then sign out all active sessions and check your two-factor authentication methods for any device or phone number you don't recognise. Look in your mailbox for forwarding rules, new inbox rules or sent messages you didn't write, and tell your IT team, because a stolen work login is often used to phish your contacts. Administrators should block the domain at mail and web gateways and review sign-in logs for logins from unusual locations after 2026-09-03. They should also require phishing-resistant MFA for Microsoft 365 accounts where possible.

Recommendations & Advice for Victims

Choose the steps that match what you shared. Keep a copy of this report alongside your own records.

What should I do immediately?

Urgent

Stop using the suspicious site. Open the real service through its official app or an address you already trust.

  • Change all passwords — email, exchange accounts, anything that shares the same password
  • Enable 2FA using an authenticator app (not SMS). Disable SMS-based recovery
  • Freeze cards if you entered banking details on the phishing site

What information should I collect for my report?

FBI guidelines

Keep original emails, receipts, messages and screenshots in a secure place. A factual timeline helps the receiving authority understand what happened. IC3 evidence guidance ↗

  • Payment records — if you paid, save the receipt, amount, date, payment provider and recipient details.
  • Exact dates & times — of each transaction and first contact with scammer
  • Screenshots — scam website, chat messages, emails, wallet transactions, social media
  • All URLs & domains used by the scammer (including contact.zoecondominios.com.br)
  • Communications — emails, texts, phone numbers, usernames the scammer used

Even if you don't have all details — file a report anyway. Partial information still helps investigations.

Where should I report the scam?

  • FBI IC3 — Internet Crime Complaint Center (US federal reporting)
  • Europol — European cybercrime reporting (EU)
  • Your bank or payment provider — contact its fraud team promptly through official contact details if money or card information was exposed.
  • Local police — creates an official record, even if they can't act immediately

A report is not a guarantee of recovery or investigation, but prompt, accurate transaction data can help authorities and service providers trace the incident.

How do phishing scams typically work?

  • Fake websites — pixel-perfect clones of legitimate sites with slightly altered domains
  • Pig butchering — trust built over weeks via Telegram/WhatsApp/dating apps, then money stolen
  • Recovery scams — fraudsters pose as recovery agents and demand upfront fees. Never share a seed phrase or pay before independently verifying the provider
  • AI-powered scams — deepfakes, automated phishing, and AI-generated sites making fraud harder to detect

How can I protect myself in the future?

  • Bookmark official sites — never click links from emails, DMs, or ads
  • Verify domains — check on PhishDestroy before interacting. Check HTTPS, spelling, domain age
  • "Too good to be true" = scam — guaranteed returns, celebrity endorsements, urgent deadlines
