PhishDestroy threat report
community-flarenetwork.top was an impersonation phishing page posing as Flare Network. It carried the official-sounding title "Flare: The blockchain for data" and a "community" prefix meant to look like a legitimate hub for Flare holders. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-29. The site went offline on 2026-09-30 and was still dead when last checked on 2026-10-19.
Pages like this copy the look and branding of a real project, then steer visitors toward an action that hands over control of their funds. Common tricks include asking visitors to connect a wallet to claim a reward, verify an account or join a migration, then requesting a malicious signature or token approval. Some pages instead ask visitors to type in a seed phrase. The "community" framing aims at people who follow project announcements and expect official community portals. Anyone who signs or shares their recovery phrase can lose the tokens in that wallet with no way to reverse the transfer.
urlscan.io rated the page malicious and automatically recognised Flare Network branding on it. That confirms the brand copy was visible on the page itself, not just in the domain name. On VirusTotal, 7 of 91 engines flagged it as of 2026-09-29: CRDF, Emsisoft, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Kaspersky, Netcraft and Webroot. That is a modest count, but typical for a site caught within days of going live. MetaMask and SEAL list it alongside PhishDestroy, so wallet users relying on those protections were warned, and three AlienVault OTX threat pulses reference the domain.
The domain was registered on 2026-09-27 through Eranet International Limited, only two days before PhishDestroy detected it. It was offline a day after that, a short lifespan typical of disposable phishing domains. The site sat behind Cloudflare, Inc. on an address geolocated to Canada, which hides the true origin server from visitors. Its Let's Encrypt certificate gave it a padlock, a reminder that HTTPS alone says nothing about whether a site is genuine.
If you connected a wallet to this site, use a token approval checker to review and revoke any permissions you granted, and move remaining assets to a fresh wallet if you signed anything you did not understand. If you entered a seed phrase, treat that wallet as compromised and transfer funds to a new wallet with a newly generated phrase immediately. Reach Flare Network only through its official channels, and ignore "community" links shared in DMs or replies. Defenders should block the domain and watch for similar newly registered lookalikes combining "flare" with words like community, claim or airdrop.

No. PhishDestroy classifies community-flarenetwork.top as a Flarenetwork impersonation page (risk: critical, 100/100); it was first detected on 2026-09-29. VirusTotal: 7/91 engines flag it. Treat the site as unsafe.
No. Do not connect a wallet, sign messages or approve tokens on community-flarenetwork.top. Phishing sites ask for approvals (approve, setApprovalForAll, Permit2) that let the operator move your assets, and a confirmed transaction cannot be reversed.
Change every password you entered there and turn on two-factor authentication. If you connected a wallet or signed something, revoke the approvals and move the remaining funds to a new wallet; never share your seed phrase. Step-by-step help: emergency guide.
