PhishDestroy threat report
blurindia.shop hosts a fake online store that pretends to sell Blur cosmetics. The page title advertises “Buy Blur India Cosmetics/Beauty Products Online, India's Makeup Brand | Blur India”, copying the legitimate Blur brand to lure Indian shoppers. PhishDestroy first recorded the site on 2026-10-18. The domain is currently active, with live content as of the last check on 2026-10-19.
The site uses the trusted Blur name and a convincing storefront to collect visitor information such as names, addresses, phone numbers and payment details. By presenting itself as a local Indian retailer, it encourages users to complete a purchase, at which point the data is harvested for fraud or resale. No actual products are shipped, and victims lose the personal and financial data they entered.
VirusTotal flagged the domain in 4 of 92 scanning engines, with detections from alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and marked the page as a fake shop. PhishDestroy and four OTX pulses also list the domain as malicious.
The domain was registered on 2026-06-12 through Dynadot Inc. It is hosted on IP 80.71.144.122, operated by Malakmadze Web LLC in the United States. TLS certificates are issued by Let’s Encrypt / YE2.
Anyone who entered personal or payment information should change passwords, monitor bank and credit statements, and consider contacting their financial institution. If a cryptocurrency wallet was linked, revoke any approvals granted to the site. Security teams should block blurindia.shop at the network perimeter, add it to internal blocklists, and watch for other impersonations of the Blur brand.
For this gTLD, the registrar above operates under an ICANN accreditation agreement. The links below provide the official fee schedule and current DNS abuse compliance guidance.
