PhishDestroy threat report
blacksheepgear.shop pretends to be an online store for Black Sheep cycling apparel. The page title "Black Sheep Cycling | Black Sheep" is used to give the impression of an official brand storefront. PhishDestroy first saw the domain on 2026-10-17. The site remains active and serving live content as of the last check on 2026-10-19.
Visitors are led to a product catalog that looks like a legitimate Black Sheep shop. When a shopper proceeds to checkout, the site captures credit‑card, PayPal or other payment details instead of processing a real transaction. The stolen financial information is then used for unauthorized purchases or sold on underground markets. Victims lose the funds they intended to spend and may suffer identity exposure.
VirusTotal flagged the domain as malicious in 5 of 92 scanning engines, with detections from alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue and SOCRadar. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and specifically marked the site as a fake shop. PhishDestroy added the domain to its blocklist, and the Open Threat Exchange has generated four pulses referencing the same threat. These independent signals corroborate the e‑commerce scam classification.
The domain was registered on 2026-05-22 through Dynadot Inc. Hosting is provided by the Malakmadze Web LLC network in the United States. The site uses a Let’s Encrypt certificate issued by the YE1 authority. No further infrastructure details are disclosed.
Anyone who entered payment information should immediately contact their card issuer or payment provider to dispute the charge and request a replacement card. Remove any saved credentials, change related passwords, and monitor financial statements for unauthorized activity. Security teams should block the domain at DNS and proxy layers, add it to threat‑intel feeds, and watch for other domains using the same registrar or hosting network. Continue to follow updates from PhishDestroy and other blocklists.
For this gTLD, the registrar above operates under an ICANN accreditation agreement. The links below provide the official fee schedule and current DNS abuse compliance guidance.

Dated changes retained by the monitor and source collectors. Newest observations appear first; source states are not proof of a takedown.

This report combines saved page captures, registration and network records, scanner results and PhishDestroy reporting history. Each source keeps its own observation date. Open a source report to inspect the original result.
The AI-assisted analysis was written on . It describes the evidence available at that time; later source checks can change.
A capture documents what was shown. A scanner result records that provider’s assessment at the time of its check. Neither a valid certificate nor a zero-detection result is a guarantee of safety.
