PhishDestroy threat report
birthdatehome.shop is an impersonation phishing page that poses as Birthdate Co., a seller of personalized zodiac candles and books. It targets online shoppers looking for astrology-themed gifts. PhishDestroy first detected it on 2026-10-16. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its content.
The page presents itself as "Personalized Zodiac Candles and Books | Birthdate Co." and borrows the look of a genuine gift shop to make visitors trust it. Schemes like this usually ask shoppers to personalize an item with a name and birth date, then send them to a checkout that collects card details, billing address, email and phone number. The victim may never receive the order. The payment information they entered can be reused for further fraudulent charges, and their personal details can feed follow-up phishing.
urlscan.io gave the site a malicious verdict and specifically flagged it as a fake shop. On VirusTotal, 6 of 92 engines detected it when checked on 2026-10-16: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue and Webroot. Spamhaus DBL lists the domain as DBL_SPAM, and it appears in 4 AlienVault OTX pulses. PhishDestroy's blocklist also includes it. The VirusTotal detection rate is modest, but it agrees with the urlscan.io fake-shop finding and the Spamhaus listing.
The domain was registered on 2026-05-17 through Dynadot Inc., about five months before PhishDestroy detected it. It is hosted at 23.252.79.237 on the Malakmadze Web LLC network in Georgia (GE). Its TLS certificate was issued by Let's Encrypt (YE2), so the padlock in the browser says nothing about whether the shop is legitimate.
Do not place orders or enter any details on birthdatehome.shop. If you paid with a card, contact your bank or card issuer right away to dispute the charge and request a replacement card. Watch your statements for unfamiliar transactions. If you entered a password that you also use elsewhere, change it on those other accounts. Expect phishing emails or texts that mention your order, and do not click links in them. Security teams should block the domain and the hosting IP at their DNS and web proxies, and add the domain to email filtering.
