PhishDestroy threat report
birda.shop is a fraudulent web store branded as "BIRD EYE Sportswear" that aims at people shopping online for athletic clothing. PhishDestroy classifies it as an e-commerce scam and first flagged it on 2026-10-16. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and its storefront fully live, so it can still take orders and payments.
Fake shops like this one copy the look of a sportswear retailer, fill the catalogue with products at tempting discounts and push visitors to a checkout. The buyer enters a name, shipping address and card details, and the payment goes through. What arrives afterwards is usually nothing, or a cheap item unrelated to the order. Card data and personal details typed at checkout can also be reused for further fraud. Victims lose the purchase price and face a real risk of follow-up charges.
urlscan.io rated the site malicious and specifically marked it as a fake shop, which matches our own classification. On VirusTotal, 4 of 92 engines flagged it on 2026-10-16: CRDF, G-Data, Gridinsoft and Netcraft. That count is low. Fresh scam storefronts often get through most engines in their first weeks, so a clean result from other scanners should not be taken as reassurance. The domain also appears in 4 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers have tracked it independently. It is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. on 2026-06-10, about four months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap left plenty of time to build the catalogue before attracting shoppers. The site is hosted at 37.72.142.130 on the Malakmadze Web LLC network in Georgia. It uses a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the padlock in the browser only means the connection is encrypted. It says nothing about whether the shop is honest.
If you ordered from birda.shop, call your card issuer now. Report the transaction as fraud, request a chargeback and ask for a replacement card. Watch your statements for unfamiliar charges in the coming weeks, and be wary of emails or calls about your "order" that ask for more payment or personal details. Do not place further orders or reply to any refund offers made through the site. Defenders and payment providers should block the domain and its hosting IP, and add birda.shop to web filters and merchant risk lists.
