PhishDestroy threat report
bikilastore.shop is a fraudulent web store that borrows the name of Tiendas Bikila, a Spanish retailer of running gear, and presents itself as its online shop under the heading "ZAPATILLAS DE RUNNING, ATLETISMO Y TRAIL PARA HOMBRE Y MUJER." It targets Spanish-speaking runners and trail athletes looking for shoe deals. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-16. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its storefront.
Fake shops like this copy a real retailer's branding and catalogue, then list popular running and trail shoes at prices well below the market rate. Shoppers who place an order hand over their name, delivery address, phone number and card details at checkout. The usual outcome is that no goods arrive, or a cheap item unrelated to the order is shipped. The card data can also be reused for further fraudulent charges. Using a .shop domain with "store" in the name helps the site pass a quick glance as an official outlet.
urlscan.io rated the site malicious and specifically identified it as a fake shop, which matches our classification. On 2026-10-16, six of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged it: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, G-Data, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue and Webroot. That count is modest, so many browsers and security tools may still let the page load without a warning. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses and is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. on 2026-06-05, about four months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap suggests it was set up in advance, which is common for shops that need time to build a convincing catalogue or reach customers through ads. It resolves to 146.19.203.222 on the Malakmadze Web LLC network, which is registered in Georgia, while the IP geolocates to the United States. The free Let's Encrypt certificate only provides the padlock icon and says nothing about whether the shop is legitimate.
If you ordered from bikilastore.shop, contact your bank or card issuer immediately. Ask them to block the card, dispute the charge as fraud and issue a replacement. Keep any confirmation emails and screenshots to support the chargeback. Watch for phishing messages or calls that use the name, address and phone number you entered, and be suspicious of follow-up "delivery fee" requests. Before buying from Tiendas Bikila, go to the retailer's official site directly rather than through ads or links. Defenders should block the domain and its IP and report it to the registrar and hosting provider.
For this gTLD, the registrar above operates under an ICANN accreditation agreement. The links below provide the official fee schedule and current DNS abuse compliance guidance.
