PhishDestroy threat report
bigreuseofficial.shop is a fake online shop that borrows the name of Big Reuse and presents itself as a "Donation Center and Non-Profit Retail Shop". The "official" in the domain and the charity framing aim at bargain hunters and people who want their purchases to support a good cause. PhishDestroy first saw the site on 2026-10-16. As of 2026-10-19 it was still online and serving its storefront.
Fake shops like this one copy the look and tone of a legitimate retailer, list secondhand or donated goods at prices low enough to prompt a quick purchase, and take payment at checkout. The non-profit angle lowers suspicion, because shoppers expect a charity store to be cheap and a little informal. Victims typically lose the money they paid, receive nothing or a worthless substitute, and hand over their name, address, phone number and card details, which can be reused for further fraud.
On 2026-10-19, VirusTotal showed 9 of 92 engines flagging the domain. The vendors include alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue and SOCRadar. That is a minority of engines, but the agreement across unrelated vendors is meaningful for a site this new. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and specifically flagged the page as a fake shop. The domain also appears in 3 AlienVault OTX threat pulses and is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. on 2026-05-27, about four and a half months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap suggests the operators either let the name age or ran the shop quietly before it drew attention. The site sits on a network registered to Malakmadze Web LLC in Georgia, while the IP geolocates to the United States. It uses a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the padlock in the browser says nothing about whether the shop is genuine.
If you paid on this site, contact your bank or card issuer right away to dispute the charge and ask for a replacement card. If you used PayPal or another payment service, open a claim there as well. Expect follow-up phishing that uses the name, address and phone number you entered, and do not respond to messages offering refunds or delivery updates for the order. If you want to support Big Reuse, reach the organization through channels you already know rather than through this domain. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and web proxies and add it to e-commerce fraud watchlists.
