PhishDestroy threat report
bicicrew.shop is a fraudulent storefront calling itself La Bicicletta, a "premier shop for road and gravel cycling." It targets cyclists shopping online for bikes, frames, components and apparel. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-16. As of 2026-10-19 the site is still online and serving its shop pages.
The site looks like a specialist cycling retailer, with a polished catalogue and prices low enough to undercut legitimate dealers on expensive road and gravel gear. Shoppers fill a cart and hand over card details, personal information and a delivery address at checkout. Shops of this kind typically take the payment and then ship nothing, or send a cheap item unrelated to the order. The card data and address entered can also be reused for further fraud. Victims lose the purchase amount and are exposed to card misuse.
Ten of 92 VirusTotal engines flag the domain as of 2026-10-19, including BitDefender, ESET, G-Data, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, CyRadar and Gridinsoft. Several of these are mainstream consumer antivirus vendors, so some visitors may already see a warning. urlscan.io rates the site malicious and specifically identifies it as a fake shop, which matches our classification. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers have tracked it independently.
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. on 2026-05-20, almost five months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap leaves room for the shop to have taken orders unnoticed for some time. It is hosted in Russia on the Malakmadze Web LLC network, an unusual base for a store presenting itself as an Italian-styled cycling brand. The padlock in the browser comes from a free Let's Encrypt certificate. It only means the connection is encrypted and says nothing about whether the seller is genuine.
If you paid on bicicrew.shop, contact your bank or card issuer now to dispute the charge and request a chargeback. Ask them to reissue the card. Watch your statements for unfamiliar transactions, and treat any follow-up emails about "shipping fees" or "customs charges" as part of the scam. Report the shop to your national consumer-fraud authority. Security teams should block the domain and its hosting IP at the proxy and DNS layers. They should also use the La Bicicletta branding and the cycling-store theme to hunt for sibling domains from the same operation.
