PhishDestroy threat report
bhthreads.shop is a fake online shop that presents itself as The Bear House, an Indian men's apparel brand. Its page title reads "Buy Top Men's Apparel Online at The Bear House | bearhouseindia". It targets shoppers who think they have found the brand's own store or a discount outlet. PhishDestroy first flagged the site on 2026-10-16, and it was still online with its storefront live on 2026-10-19.
The site borrows The Bear House name and a polished catalogue look so that low prices seem believable. Shops like this push visitors through a checkout that collects full name, phone number, delivery address and card or payment details. The usual outcome is that nothing arrives, or a cheap item unrelated to the order is shipped. The payment is lost, and the personal and card data collected at checkout can be reused for further fraud or targeted phishing.
urlscan.io rated the site malicious and specifically flagged it as a fake shop, which directly supports our classification. On VirusTotal, 6 of 92 engines flagged the domain as of 2026-10-19: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue and Webroot. That count is modest, so many browsers and security tools may not warn visitors yet. The domain also appears in three AlienVault OTX threat pulses and on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. on 2026-05-13, roughly five months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap suggests it was held for a while before the storefront went live or attracted attention. It is hosted on the Malakmadze Web LLC network in the United States. Its free Let's Encrypt certificate gives the browser padlock, but that only means the connection is encrypted. It says nothing about whether the shop is legitimate.
If you ordered from bhthreads.shop, contact your bank or card issuer right away. Report the charge as fraud, request a chargeback, and ask for the card to be replaced. Do not wait for a delivery to arrive before acting, because chargeback windows are limited. Treat calls, texts or emails about your "order" with suspicion, since your phone number and address may now be in scammers' hands. If you created an account with a password you use elsewhere, change it on those other sites. Security teams should block the domain at DNS and proxy level and add it to web filters. They should also report it to the brand owner and to payment processors so the merchant account can be shut down.
For this gTLD, the registrar above operates under an ICANN accreditation agreement. The links below provide the official fee schedule and current DNS abuse compliance guidance.
