PhishDestroy threat report
bhalfmoongear.shop is a fake online shop dressed up as a Halfmoon-branded store for yoga mats, meditation cushions and recovery equipment. It is aimed at yoga and wellness shoppers who search for discounted gear and land on a polished-looking storefront. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-16. As of 2026-10-19 the site is still online and serving its shop content.
The page title, "b, mat & movement, meditation & recovery essentials | b, halfmoon", borrows the Halfmoon name and its product categories so the store looks like an official outlet or authorized reseller. Fake shops of this kind usually list products at prices well below retail to push quick checkouts. The buyer pays by card or another online method and then receives nothing, a cheap substitute, or a tracking number that never resolves. Card details entered at checkout can also be reused for further fraudulent charges.
urlscan.io rates the site malicious and specifically identifies it as a fake shop, which is the most direct confirmation of the classification. On VirusTotal, 6 of 92 engines flag the domain as of 2026-10-16: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue and Netcraft. That count is modest, so many browsers and security tools may not warn visitors yet. The domain also appears in 3 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers have tied it to malicious activity.
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. on 2026-05-22, almost five months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap leaves room for the store to be indexed or advertised before anyone reports it. The site is hosted on the Malakmadze Web LLC network in Georgia, far from where a genuine Halfmoon retailer would normally run its storefront.
If you ordered from bhalfmoongear.shop, contact your bank or card issuer right away to dispute the charge and ask about a chargeback, and keep your order confirmation, emails and screenshots as proof. If you entered card details, ask your issuer to block or reissue the card and watch your statements for unfamiliar charges. If you created an account with a password you use elsewhere, change it on those other sites. Buy Halfmoon products only from the brand's own website or retailers it lists. Security teams should block the domain and the hosting address 46.245.239.159, and report the site to payment processors and consumer-protection authorities.
