PhishDestroy threat report
bgactive.shop poses as a Body Glove store, using the page title "Wetsuits, Swim Gear, & Surf Apparel | Body Glove" to pass as the surf and swimwear brand. PhishDestroy classifies it as an e-commerce scam: a fake online shop aimed at people buying wetsuits and beachwear online. We first flagged it on 2026-10-16, and as of 2026-10-19 the site was still up and serving its storefront.
Fake shops like this copy a real brand's name, product range and look, then attract buyers with prices that undercut legitimate retailers. The shopper fills a cart, enters a shipping address and pays by card or another method at checkout. Typically nothing arrives, or a cheap item unrelated to the order shows up. The victim loses the purchase money, and the name, address, phone number and card details typed into checkout end up with the operators, who can reuse them for further fraud.
urlscan.io rated the site malicious and specifically flagged it as a fake shop, which matches our classification. VirusTotal coverage is thin: on 2026-10-19 only 3 of 92 engines flagged it, namely Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft and Netcraft. A clean result from most engines therefore says little about this site's safety. The domain also appears in 2 AlienVault OTX threat pulses and on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. on 2026-05-25, about 144 days before we detected it. That gap suggests the domain was registered well in advance rather than for a single quick campaign. It resolves to 195.96.130.233 on the Malakmadze Web LLC network in the United States. The free Let's Encrypt certificate gives the site a padlock icon, but that only means the connection is encrypted and does not prove the shop is legitimate.
If you paid on bgactive.shop, contact your card issuer or payment provider right away, report the transaction as fraud and request a chargeback, then ask for a replacement card. Watch your statements for unfamiliar charges in the coming weeks. If you created an account, change that password anywhere else you reused it, and treat follow-up emails or texts about your "order" as phishing. Buy Body Glove gear only through the brand's official site or authorized retailers. Security teams should block the domain and its IP, and report it to the brand and to payment processors so merchant accounts tied to it can be shut down.
