PhishDestroy threat report
beybladeshophq.shop is a fraudulent storefront built around the Beyblade spinning-top brand. Its German page title, "Beyblade Shop | Beyblade Burst, Starter und Arena", points it at German-speaking parents, gift buyers and collectors. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-16. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and its shop content was live, so it can still take orders.
Fake toy shops copy the look of a real retailer and list popular items such as Burst tops, starter sets and battle arenas at prices below the market. The shopper adds items to the cart, enters a delivery address and payment details, and pays. Typically nothing ships, or a cheap unrelated item arrives. The victim loses the purchase money and also hands over their name, address, email and possibly card data, which can be reused for further fraud.
On 2026-10-19, 6 of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue and Webroot. That count is modest, so many browsers and security tools will not warn visitors yet. urlscan.io rated the site malicious and specifically identified it as a fake shop, which independently supports our classification. The domain also appears in 3 AlienVault OTX threat pulses and on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. on 2026-04-17, about six months before PhishDestroy detected it. Holding a domain for months before it surfaces is common for fake shops that are prepared in batches and switched on later. The site is hosted on the Malakmadze Web LLC network in Georgia, far from the German-speaking customers it targets. Its free Let's Encrypt certificate gives the browser padlock, which proves nothing about whether the shop is legitimate.
If you ordered from this shop, contact your bank or card issuer right away to dispute the charge and request a chargeback. If you paid with PayPal or a similar service, open a buyer-protection claim there. Do not send any extra "customs" or "shipping" payments the seller asks for. Expect follow-up phishing emails or texts that use the address and email you entered. If you created an account with a password you use elsewhere, change it on those other sites. Security teams should block the domain and report it to the registrar and the hosting provider so it can be taken down.
For this gTLD, the registrar above operates under an ICANN accreditation agreement. The links below provide the official fee schedule and current DNS abuse compliance guidance.
