PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

This is a phishing page hosted on a Replit app subdomain. Its page title is "Banco de Venezuela," and its address mimics that bank's online credit service, so it targets BDV customers who bank online. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-09-17. On 2026-10-19 the site was still alive and responding with a redirect. We classify the impersonated brand as Linea, while the page title and urlscan.io's brand detection both point to Banco de Venezuela.

How the scam works

Pages like this copy a bank's login screen and are usually spread through links in SMS, WhatsApp, social media ads or fake "credit approval" messages. Words like "credienlinea" and a misspelled "servcios" in the address make the link look like an official online-credit portal at a glance. The victim enters a username, password and often one-time codes or card details, and these go straight to the operators. They can then log into the real account, move money or apply for credit in the victim's name.

Evidence

On 2026-09-19, 15 of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the address. The vendors included BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Emsisoft, Gridinsoft and alphaMountain.ai. That is a broad spread of independent vendors for a single free-hosted page. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and recognised Banco de Venezuela branding on the page. The domain is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.

Infrastructure

The page runs on Replit's app-hosting platform, served from Google LLC infrastructure in the US, with a Google Trust Services certificate. The 2021-04-16 registration date belongs to the shared replit.app domain, so it says nothing about when this operator set up the page. Free developer hosting lets phishers launch a bank lookalike within minutes under a trusted padlock and a reputable network. That is why the browser's HTTPS indicator gives no assurance here.

What to do

If you entered your Banco de Venezuela credentials on this page, change your online banking password immediately from the official app or website. Call the bank to report possible fraud and ask them to review recent transactions. If you shared card details or one-time codes, have the card blocked and watch your statements for unfamiliar charges or credit requests. Do not reuse that password anywhere else. Security teams should block this hostname and report it to Replit's abuse team. They should also warn Venezuelan banking customers that BDV-themed links on replit.app subdomains are not official.

No. PhishDestroy classifies bdvcredienlinea-7--servcios.replit.app as a Linea impersonation page (risk: critical, 100/100); it was first detected on 2026-09-17. VirusTotal: 15/89 engines flag it. Treat the site as unsafe.

Is bdvcredienlinea-7--servcios.replit.app safe to connect a wallet?

Recommendations & Advice for Victims

Choose the steps that match what you shared. Keep a copy of this report alongside your own records.

What should I do immediately?

Urgent

Stop using the suspicious site. Open the real service through its official app or an address you already trust.

  • Change all passwords — email, exchange accounts, anything that shares the same password
  • Enable 2FA using an authenticator app (not SMS). Disable SMS-based recovery
  • Freeze cards if you entered banking details on the phishing site

What information should I collect for my report?

FBI guidelines

Keep original emails, receipts, messages and screenshots in a secure place. A factual timeline helps the receiving authority understand what happened. IC3 evidence guidance ↗

  • Payment records — if you paid, save the receipt, amount, date, payment provider and recipient details.
  • Exact dates & times — of each transaction and first contact with scammer
  • Screenshots — scam website, chat messages, emails, wallet transactions, social media
  • All URLs & domains used by the scammer (including bdvcredienlinea-7--servcios.replit.app)
  • Communications — emails, texts, phone numbers, usernames the scammer used

Even if you don't have all details — file a report anyway. Partial information still helps investigations.

Where should I report the scam?

  • FBI IC3 — Internet Crime Complaint Center (US federal reporting)
  • Europol — European cybercrime reporting (EU)
  • Your bank or payment provider — contact its fraud team promptly through official contact details if money or card information was exposed.
  • Local police — creates an official record, even if they can't act immediately

A report is not a guarantee of recovery or investigation, but prompt, accurate transaction data can help authorities and service providers trace the incident.

How do phishing scams typically work?

  • Fake websites — pixel-perfect clones of legitimate sites with slightly altered domains
  • Pig butchering — trust built over weeks via Telegram/WhatsApp/dating apps, then money stolen
  • Recovery scams — fraudsters pose as recovery agents and demand upfront fees. Never share a seed phrase or pay before independently verifying the provider
  • AI-powered scams — deepfakes, automated phishing, and AI-generated sites making fraud harder to detect

How can I protect myself in the future?

  • Bookmark official sites — never click links from emails, DMs, or ads
  • Verify domains — check on PhishDestroy before interacting. Check HTTPS, spelling, domain age
  • "Too good to be true" = scam — guaranteed returns, celebrity endorsements, urgent deadlines
