How the scam works
Locker-value and rank-checker lures work because players are curious about what their cosmetics collection is worth. To produce a result, these pages typically ask the visitor to sign in with their game or platform account, or to hand over login details through a lookalike form. Anything typed there goes to the operators, not to Epic Games. A stolen Fortnite account can be stripped of its items, resold with its rare skins, or used to make purchases with any saved payment method.
Evidence
On 2026-10-02, 5 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, LevelBlue and SOCRadar.
