PhishDestroy threat report
142.ip-164-132-197.eu is an impersonation phishing page. It runs on a bare server hostname that spells out its own IP address, not on a lookalike brand domain. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-11. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and its content resolved through a redirect, so anyone who follows a link to it can still reach the scam.
Impersonation pages copy the look of a service the victim already trusts, then ask for whatever the operator wants: account passwords, one-time codes, card details or a wallet recovery phrase. Anything typed into the form goes straight to the attacker, who can then take over the real account or empty the real wallet. The page displays the title "Success!", a generic confirmation message, while we classify the site as impersonation phishing. Because the hostname redirects, the address a victim clicks may not be the page that finally loads, which lets the operator swap destinations without changing the link.
On 2026-10-12, 12 of 92 VirusTotal engines marked the address as malicious. The flagging vendors were alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, Chong Lua Dao, CyRadar, Fortinet, G-Data, Gridinsoft and Lionic. That is a minority of engines, but the list mixes major endpoint vendors with a dedicated Vietnamese anti-phishing project, which points to independent confirmation rather than one shared feed. Among blocklists, PhishDestroy currently lists it.
The name follows OVH's default reverse-DNS pattern for the server at 164.132.197.142, and OVH SAS is listed as registrar. The operators therefore did not register a domain of their own and are using the stock hostname of a rented machine. The server sits on OVH's network in France. It presents a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the padlock in the browser says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.
If you entered a password on this page, change it on the genuine service and on every other site where you reuse it. Then turn on app-based or hardware two-factor authentication and sign out other active sessions. If you gave a one-time code or card details, contact the provider or your bank right away. If you typed a wallet recovery phrase, treat that wallet as compromised and move any remaining funds to a new wallet created on a clean device. Defenders should block the hostname and the IP 164.132.197.142, watch logs for redirect chains that end there, and report the server to OVH's abuse team.
