PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

xfhfstore.com is an impersonation phishing site that borrows Cloudflare's branding. Automated scanning also picked up Xfinity brand elements, which suggests it targets people who expect a familiar service or account page. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-03. As of 2026-10-19 the domain was still alive and serving a redirect, so it remains a live risk.

How the scam works

The page title reads "Suspected Phishing | Cloudflare", which is the wording of Cloudflare's own warning interstitial, while we classify the site itself as an impersonation phishing page. Pages in this category copy the look of a trusted brand to make visitors lower their guard, then steer them toward a login or verification step. Anything typed there, usually an account username, password or one-time code, goes to the operators. With the Xfinity signal in the scan, the most likely loss is access to an Xfinity or similar service account and whatever personal or billing details sit behind it.

Evidence

On 2026-10-03, 9 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. The vendors that flagged it include alphaMountain.ai, Emsisoft, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, Netcraft, Seclookup, SOCRadar and Sophos. Coverage is limited but comes from several independent vendors. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and identified Xfinity branding. The domain appears on the PhishDestroy and PhishFeed blocklists and is referenced in 5 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other analysts are tracking it as well.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-09-22 through DNC Holdings, Inc and was being detected as phishing just 11 days later. That short gap is typical of throwaway domains built for a single campaign. Traffic resolves to 188.114.96.3 on Cloudflare's US network, which means the real origin server sits behind Cloudflare's proxy. The Let's Encrypt certificate gives visitors a padlock, but that only means the connection is encrypted. It says nothing about who runs the site.
