The domain www.wallet2qr.com was a phishing site engaged in brand impersonation targeting users of the cryptocurrency platform Across. It posed as a legitimate QR code generator but was designed to deceive victims into disclosing wallet credentials or transferring funds under false pretenses. No drainer kit was identified, but the site was classified as a cryptocurrency scam. As of the latest verification, www.wallet2qr.com has been taken offline.

Technical indicators confirm the elevated risk. The domain was flagged by 2 of 95 security vendors on VirusTotal, including Bfore.Ai PreCrime and SOCRadar. It appeared on one security blocklist (PhishDestroy) and had a Gridinsoft trust score of 0/100. Registered through HOSTINGER operations, UAB on February 02, 2025, the site resolved to IP address 188.114.97.3, hosted by Cloudflare in the US (AS13335). No SSL certificate was present, and the observed page title was 'Generate Cryptocurrency QR Codes Instantly | Wallet2QR'. Nameservers were augustus.ns.cloudflare.com and bristol.ns.cloudflare.com.

Victims of www.wallet2qr.com should immediately revoke any token approvals granted to unknown contracts and transfer remaining funds to a new, secure wallet. Monitor transaction history for unauthorized activity and report the incident to the impersonated brand, Across. Additionally, report the domain to Google Safe Browsing, PhishTank, and local cybercrime authorities to aid in takedown efforts and prevent further exploitation.
