PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

usdtwheel.org is on the PhishDestroy blocklist. Its name pairs the USDT stablecoin with a "wheel," which points at crypto holders, and its page shows only the word "Loading" with no visible content. PhishDestroy first recorded it on 2026-10-06. On 2026-10-19 the server still responded, but DNS resolution for its content was inactive.

How the scam works

The page title "Loading" reveals nothing about what the site does. We have not confirmed a specific scheme. The name, however, matches a common lure: a USDT spin or prize wheel that promises a crypto reward and then asks for a wallet connection, a signature or a small fee to unlock winnings. On any site like this, the real risk comes when you approve a transaction or type in a seed phrase, because either one can hand your funds to someone else.

Evidence

On 2026-10-19, VirusTotal showed 4 of 92 engines flagging the domain: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker and SOCRadar. That count is low, but four separate vendors with different detection methods agree the domain is unsafe. It appears in two AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers have also tracked it. Among the blocklists checked, PhishDestroy's is the only one that lists it.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered through Spaceship, Inc. on 2026-08-27, about forty days before PhishDestroy flagged it. That short gap is typical of throwaway domains set up for one campaign. It is hosted at 109.238.86.76 on the UFO Technologies Limited network in Great Britain. It has a Let's Encrypt certificate, so the padlock in your browser says nothing about whether the site is trustworthy.

What to do

Do not connect a wallet, sign anything or pay a fee to claim a reward on usdtwheel.org. If you already connected a wallet, use a token-approval checker to revoke any permissions you granted to unfamiliar contracts, and move your assets to a new wallet if you entered a seed phrase. If you sent USDT, report the transaction to the exchange or wallet provider you used. Defenders should block the domain and its IP address and watch for similar USDT-wheel names registered around the same time.
