PhishDestroy identifies skyscannerz.com as a live crypto drainer brand impersonator posing as the legitimate travel booking service Skyscanner. When users land on the page they are tricked into connecting crypto wallets to a fake onboarding flow that silently drains tokens via malicious smart-contract calls. Campaigns usually spread via social-media ads and sponsored posts that mimic Skyscanner’s branding, so the first red flag is anything asking for a wallet connection outside of Skyscanner’s official website or app. Skyscannerz.com was registered on March 04, 2026—just days ago—through the shell-friendly registrar Fewmoretaps OU d/b/a Trustname.com. The domain resolves to IP 216.198.79.1 and already bears a Let’s Encrypt SSL leaf, giving a false veneer of legitimacy. VirusTotal currently flags 0 out of 95 scanning engines, meaning most antivirus and browser filters have not yet blacklisted it. This combination of fresh registration, privacy shielding, and zero detections makes it exceptionally dangerous for travelers booking flights or hotels who may stumble upon malicious ads.
