Whatever the visitor approves or types in goes to the operators. That can mean token approvals that let them move funds later, or full control of the wallet if a recovery phrase is entered. The AI branding adds credibility and urgency without the site ever having to show a working product.
Evidence
Independent detection is still thin. On 2026-10-06, 4 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. Most security tools will therefore not warn a visitor yet. ScamSniffer, a blocklist focused on wallet-targeting scams, also lists the domain alongside PhishDestroy, which supports the crypto-phishing classification.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Namecheap on 2026-09-17, eight days before PhishDestroy detected it, so the brand was launched quickly. It resolves to 170.75.167.55 on the Cogent Communications network, with the server located in Canada. What to do
Do not connect a wallet to scanana.cc or type a recovery phrase into it.
